Like his father, Benjie Paras, Kobe is a basketball genius. He was supposed to play for UCLA, but then withdrew because of an academic decision of the institution. Still, he continued his passion for the game by playing for the Creighton Bluejays in Nebraska, U.S. He also represented the Philippines in different international sports contests and won slam dunk championships.
