During the 2019 elections, Doc Willie Ong expressed his stance on key issues on his participation in debates and town halls.
He advocated for easier and cheaper access to medicine and medical services for Filipinos. Free maintenance medicine and laboratory tests are also part of his vision for the country. He also considered the legalization of medical marijuana. On the other hand, Ong was also on the same page as President Rodrigo Duterte on issues such as the reimposition of death penalty and lowering the minimum age of criminal liability.
