Avengers: Infinity War, the highly anticipated sequel to Avengers: Age of Ultron, recently hit the screens, much to the delight of Marvel fans worldwide. The film sees Earth’s mightiest heroes battle it out against Thanos, the main antagonist for the past 10 years.
While everyone was busy buzzing about who survives and who dies, we couldn’t help but notice that almost all of the guys in the movie are sporting beards. Yup, even Captain America! With that said, we created a power ranking of all the best beards in Infinity War.
1. Steve Rogers
Chris Evans has always looked incredibly handsome whenever he wears a full-on beard, and his Infinity War look didn’t disappoint! And if you think Cap decided to just grow his facial hair, think again. The actor thinks that the beard is essential to his story line.
2. Thor
Although he lost an eye in Thor: Ragnarok, Thor’s ever-so-gorgeous facial locks still remains. To be honest, who needs an eye when you’ve got that beard?
3. Bucky Barnes
We’ve seen Sebastian Stan sporting a great moustache before, so his Infinity War facial hair is unsurprisingly a pretty good one. (Plus that hair!)
4. Heimdall
Any film with Idris Elba in it is sure to be eye-candy thanks to his beard. Though he only showed up in the early moments of the film, Elba definitely made a huge mark.
5. T’Challa
He’s not the King for nothing; ever since Black Panther made his debut in the MCU earlier this year, the character became a cultural phenomenon all throughout the world, even shattering several records. T’Challa’s beard continues to grace our screens in Infinity War, along with his insanely good looks.
6. Tony Stark
RDJ definitely embraced his Tony Stark persona. It’s said that RDJ himself does his own grooming on the set, which, as any man who grows a ‘stache would tell you, is not an easy thing to do.
7. Doctor Strange
Benedict Cumberbatch’s semi-beard for his role as Doctor Strange did not sit in well initially with his Cumberb*tches. We thought we couldn’t love it, but then we did, and now we can’t get enough of it! Even more so in Infinity War.
8. Peter Quill
He may have had a few scene-stealing moments on the film, but we just can’t seem to like Star-Lord’s patchy beard. For the record, we put him last because of his beard and not because of… you know.
