It’s time to reach for the stars! AcadArena has just announced the launch of three new scholarships and aid initiatives in partnership with 100 Thieves creators Valkyrae and Fuslie. These AcadArena scholarships are specially designed to support aspiring gamers who need assistance reaching their academic and gaming goals — whether it be competitively or professionally. Here’s what’s on offer:
Valkyrae’s Homecoming Scholarship
In celebration of Valkyrae’s return to the Philippines, Valkyrae’s Homecoming Scholarship will recognize Filipino students who not only excel in academics but also showcase a passion for gaming. Winning scholars will be awarded on stage during CONQuest (June 4) and will also get to meet Valkyrae!
Details: Three students will receive up to PHP 180,000 in scholarship funds.
Open to: Grade 12 students to undergraduate college students enrolled in the Philippines.

Fuslie’s Scholarship for Women in Gaming
Fuslie’s Scholarship for Women in Gaming is designed to empower female students who are interested in pursuing a career in gaming. The scholarship aims to support and encourage more women to take on leadership roles in the industry and to give a voice and platform to those who speak up against harassment. The scholarship recognizes that women face unique challenges in the gaming space and is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable gaming industry. Winning scholars will be awarded on June 4 during CONQuest 2023 and will get to meet Fuslie!
Details: Two exceptional students will receive up to PHP 135,000 in scholarship funds.
Open to: Enrolled Grade 12 students to undergraduate college students

CONQuest Scholarship
AcadArena’s CONQuest Scholarship will award one student a grant of PHP 100,000. Best part? You don’t even need to write an essay. The application process is incredibly simple and consists of just three easy steps: setting up an AcadArena account, submitting it for verification, and completing the scholarship application form which takes only 40 seconds to complete. This scholarship is awarded once every semester and anyone who is eligible may reapply. In addition, ten lucky applicants who apply will receive a CONQuest Festival 2023 Friday Pass.
Details: 1 Awardee will receive a PHP 100,000 grant; 10 random applicants from February 21 – April 29 will receive CONQuest Festival 2023 (Friday Pass)
Open to: All students (Grade 12 – Undergraduate College) enrolled in the Philippines.

AcadArena Scholarships and Aid
Apart from the three new scholarship programs, AcadArena also has two scholarships for student gamers. These programs are designed to give students the boost they need to succeed, and it is an initiative that showcases AcadArena’s commitment to empowering student gamers.
AcadArena Scholarships & Aid for SHS and Freshies
ASA for SHS and Freshies is a scholarship that supports senior high school and college freshie students who have demonstrated excellence and versatility in both academics and gaming.
Details: Two awardees will receive tuition coverage of PHP 30,000.
Open to: All SHS students or college freshies enrolled in an undergraduate program in the Philippines who have participated, engaged, or involved in anything gaming and esports-related
Requirements: Fully completed online application form

AcadArena Scholarships & Aid for Gamers
ASA for Gamers seeks to reward gamers of any genre that prove they can balance academic excellence with casual gaming.
Details: Two awardees will receive tuition coverage of PHP 30,000.
Open to: All Grade 12 or Undergraduate College students enrolled in the Philippines who plays video games — even just casually.
Requirements: Fully completed online application form
Application period: February 21 – May 31, 2023
