Though most of us are stuck at home, getting 8 hours of sleep is still important to keep our immune system healthy (and also since many of us are still working/studying from home). But with all the bad news and distractions, it’s getting harder and harder to get a good night’s rest. If you’re having a hard time sleeping, try using these apps to help you out.

 

Slumber

Via Appstore

With hundreds of different stories, meditations, soundscapes, and music to choose from, Slumber will help you relax your mind so you’ll be primed and ready for sleep. Slumber is available on The App Store.

 


Headspace

Via tidbits

This meditation app has some exercises that are designed for just before going to bed. It also offers bedtime stories to relax your mind. Headspace will also let you listen to relaxing sounds the will instantly make you feel sleepy and will make you feel less stressed and ready for a good night’s rest. Headspace is available on the App Store and Google Play.

 

Calm

Via Calm

Calm lets you listen to different bedtime stories for both adults and children. Another twist is that some of these stories are read by your favorite celebrities. Who wouldn’t feel relaxed while listening to their soothing voices? Calm is available on The App Store and Google Play.

 


Reflectly

Via reflectly

Journaling is known to help relax our minds because it lets us collect our thoughts and ease anxiety. Reflectly lets you create a journal where you can organize your thoughts and write what you’re feeling so you can get a put your worries — and yourself — to rest. Reflectly is available on the App Store and Google Play.

 


Pillow

This app monitors your sleeping pattern so you’ll know whether or not you need to adjust your sleeping schedule. Pillow is an app that lets you monitor your movements when you’re sleeping. It will also track your sleeping stages and also let you know if you snore. Pillow is available on The App Store.

 

Relax Melodies

Via Google Play

Relax Melodies is an app that lets you listen to hundreds of relaxing sounds nonstop. You can set how many minutes or hours you want to listen so it can stop when you fall asleep. Relax Melodies is available on Google Play and The App Store.

 

Sleep Cycle

Via Google Play

The sleep cycle monitors your sleeping patterns and will let you know if you need to adjust your sleeping patterns. It’ll also wake you up at a point in your sleep cycle when you’re ready to wake up, all the better to get the most out of your sleep. Sleep Cycle is available on  Google Play and The App Store.

 

White Noise

Via Play Store

This app will surround your room with peaceful sounds to help clear your mind with negative thoughts. White Noise is an app that offers hundreds of calming sounds that will help you get a good night’s sleep, away from the noise that surrounds you. White Noise is available on Google Play and The App Store.
