Hooray for Cat Day!
Famous Felines to Channel Your Moods
By Tynne De Leon
It’s International Cats Day! And since it’s the perfect occasion to recognize these sweet, little pumpkins, let’s point out one reason why they’re so close to our hearts: their facial expressions! *squeals*
They normally just have poker faces on, so it’s always fun to see how some cats mirror a lot of human moods. Don’t you just love their different, adorable faces?
Let’s clog the internet with cuteness of how each cat resembles our different auras.
8. Feeling pa-bebe: Snoopy The Cat
Popular in China, Snoopy is a chubby exotic shorthair cat from Chengdu, Sichuan. His snout and big eyes are so bursting with cuteness that he has over 340,000 followers on Instagram. So when you feel a little pa-cutie, Snoopy is your inner diva.
7. Release your inner filmmaker: Cooper The Photographer Cat
With close to a million followers on Facebook, Cooper has been featured on several media outlets, including Animal Planet, for his photography stints—using a lightweight digital camera fastened to his collar! And, mind you, he even has his own blog and Youtube page. This dorky little darling is owned by filmmakers Michael and Deirdre Cross, which really makes us want to train our little pets!
6. When you’re feeling hippy: Hamilton the Hipster Cat
His white mustache game is so strong, you may want to call him “sire.” He used to be a feral cat, born and raised without much human contact. He was even dubbed as the “new grumpy cat.”
5. When your eyebrows are on fleek: Sam the Cat
Drop those eyebrow pencils because this cat has just owned the brow game! We bet Sam’s eyebrows are thicker (and slicker) than most of us. *cries in frustration*
