Want to Watch Coldplay in PH Arena? Make Sure to Follow These Steps to Get Tickets

British rock band Coldplay is one of the most awaited artists to perform in the country. And finally — finally!!! — the band is making their comeback in the Philippines next year. Coldplay last played in Manila in 2017 during their “A Head Full of Dreams” tour. Now, they’re bringing their latest tour to the Philippines: Here’s everything you need to know so far about their upcoming concert:

Coldplay is taking their “Music of the Spheres” world tour to the Philippines this 19 January 2024, Friday at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. The one-night show is organized by Live Nation Philippines.

 

How do you get tickets?

It is unclear yet which ticketing platform will be used for Coldplay’s show. But based on previous shows held at the Philippine Arena and handled by Live Nation PH, the ticketing platform will likely be SM Tickets.

To have the best chance to get tickets to the show, make sure you do the following:

Sign up for the Coldplay newsletter on their website. You only need to provide your name, email, birthday, home country, and preferred show. Once you do, you can expect an email for the presale link by 18 June 2023, Sunday.

Register for a Live Nation Philippines account. You may be able to access the presale link through the Coldplay page on the Live Nation Philippines website.

Make an SM Tickets account. This may be the ticketing platform for the show, so it’s best to familiarize yourself with how the site works.

 

How much are tickets?

Unfortunately, ticket prices are not yet available. Live Nation Philippines will be releasing more details this week.

 


Are there any other stops?

Coldplay will also be performing in Bangkok, Thailand on 27 January 2024 at the Rajamangala National Stadium (51,552 pax capacity), while the band will play four nights in Singapore on 23-24 and 26-27 January 2024 at the Singapore National Stadium (55,000 pax capacity).

The presale date for the shows in Bangkok and Singapore are as follows:

  • Bangkok — 19 June 2023, Monday, 10 AM local time (which is 11 AM in PH time)
  • Singapore — 19 June 2023, Monday, 10 AM local time (which is also 10 AM in PH time)

Coldplay is also performing in other Asia-Pacific countries, namely Taiwan, Indonesia, and Australia, but all shows are already sold out. Their two-day show in Tokyo, Japan will be on sale on 17 June 2023.
