Rumor has it that two superstars, Jennie from BLACKPINK and V from BTS, may just be tuning their hearts to the same love song. While there hasn’t been any official announcement, one clip was enough to send fandoms on cloud nine, leaving them giddy with excitement and imagination running wild. Here’s what happened:

Parisian bliss and romance

Paris continues to live up to its nickname as the City of Love. French journalist Amar Taoualit posted a TikTok video that looks like a moment straight out of a fairytale! In the photos, the couple is seen casually strolling along the picturesque Seine while holding hands. OMG!

Taoualit confirms it was Jennie and V he saw walking along the famous tourist spot. As of this writing, the TikTok video has nearly three million views and an avalanche of comments. 

Love déjà vu?

This isn’t the first time Jennie and V were caught in the middle of dating rumors. Last year, the internet collectively lost its mind following an alleged picture of them traveling on Jeju Island. Fans also caught V briefly following and then unfollowing Jennie on Instagram in December 2021.

YG Entertainment, the company that handles BLACKPINK, released a brief statement on the alleged relationship, saying they have “nothing to say” about the issue and will address the public once they have a “different response to share.”

Netizens can’t handle the kilig!

Anyone who sees a couple that’s happy and madly in love can feel a rush of kilig — much more if that’s two drop-dead gorgeous superstars like Jennie and V. BLINKs and ARMYs’ hearts melt in awe, expressing their overwhelming support to both of them.

The two fandoms may not see eye-to-eye all the time, but one tweet perfectly captures the state of some warring fans in both camps right now.

One user also pointed out that Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, doesn’t need to say anything because they don’t owe confirmations of their artists’ personal lives to the fans.

“Tae[hyung] can date whoever he wants, and he never has to confirm it. Doesn’t mean it’s not true, just not our business,” they added.
