It may not be a hashtag, but it sure was trending low-key for the last couple of weeks, so what exactly is the “Di Mo Kami Maloloko” Tweet?

In a nutshell, it’s best described as a funny way to point out someone’s lookalike, the best examples of which are often gender-swapped and involve a pretty distinct-looking celebrity of some sort. And now that we’ve explained the joke, let’s ruin the meme further by selecting the 8 best examples of the meme and breaking them down…

Here’s the one that got the ball rolling on this. Gotta admit, it made me choke on my coffee when I first saw it – and I don’t even drink coffee! That’s how funny it was.

Our favorite Machong Chismoso first made me realize this was a thing when he got in on the festivities. Knowing that he’s probably been busting Mikey’s chops for years makes this one even sweeter.

This one took me a while, but I can see it now.

It’s not gender-swapped, but holy cow.

Also, not gender-swapped (no, I won’t entertain those jokes), but you can’t unsee it.
