Raise your hand if you watched Money Heist Part 5: Vol 1 in one sitting. We hear you. We’ve all attempted to watch one episode a day of the hit Netflix Spanish series but the cliffhangers were too much! In Part 5, released last Sept. 3, we are drawn back into the high-adrenaline world of our favorite robbers in red jumpsuits. They’re trapped inside the Bank of Spain with their mastermind, the Professor, being held hostage by a rogue agent. Whatever plan they initially had is now discarded and it’s time to improvise if they want to get out of there alive.
Money Heist Part 5 was one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride that left some fans bawling by the end — and we’ve still have five more episodes to go! Fan theories were obliterated, favorite characters died, our robbers are left to fight a war with a ruthless army, and we have zero clue what’s coming next. But if you ever find yourself crying over brutal plot developments, you can take comfort in the fact that it’s just acting and the actors are all friends IRL. We’ve got five more episodes of Part 5 before Money Heist officially ends. At this point, no character is safe. We don’t know who will survive until the end of if they’ll even get out of that building alive. But the entire series has been one heck of a journey for the viewer and especially for the characters we’ve learned to love.
