Although we’ve all been working from home for over a year now, it doesn’t mean we’re entirely used to it. Remote work will always have its challenges: slow internet, chaotic surroundings, the hot weather, and an assortment of animals making noises outside your window. Sometimes it’s next to impossible trying to work. Take a break from your WFH set-up and ease yourself back into office life. Or at least an imitation of it by staying at a co-working space.

Before you decide to pay any one of these co-working spaces a visit, you should first consider your safety. Staying in air-conditioned and enclosed spaces give you a higher chance of being exposed to the virus since the air circulates. So before you pick your spot, contact these spaces and ask them about their measures against COVID-19 and make sure you wear your masks properly for the duration of your stay.

Space 1851 Coworking Hub Manila

2F, 1851 Pilar Hidalgo Lim St. cor. Remedios St., Malate Manila

Working at Space 1851 entitles you to perks: unlimited Fiber internet, free drinking water, free locker use, outlets, a fully equipped pantry, and services like printing, scanning, and photocopy. You can also bring outside food with no corkage fee.

Their rates are as follows:

  • Daily Space Pass – P500 whole day
  • Weekly Space Pass – P2,000 for five consecutive days
  • Unli Space Pass – P5,000 for one month
Aside from co-working hubs, Space 1851 can also be booked for smaller events, private meetings, and photo and video shoots.

For reservations, send them an email at thespace1851@gmail.com, contact them at 0935 818 7130 and 70011-1908, or reach out on Facebook.

CoSY has also implemented rules to safeguard everyone from the virus. They won’t accept walk-ins anymore so make sure you have a reservation for a cashless transaction. Facemasks are required at all times and your temperature will be checked on site. CoSY has also put up transparent barriers on shared tables and sanitizers in corners. Their team has been doing rigorous cleaning and sanitation every day. You’re as safe as you can be at CoSY.
