Pinoys are about to be spoiled with a prequel for one of the best films ever. Seven years after the premiere of Four Sisters and a Wedding, we’re finally having a backstory on the Salazar family. Four Sisters Before the Wedding explores the childhood of our beloved Salazar siblings Teddie (Toni Gonzaga), Bobbie (Bea Alonzo), Alex (Angel Locsin), Gabbie (Shaina Magdayao), and CJ (Enchong Dee). The trailer looks every bit the parallel of the first movie, down to Teddie’s “Options, options, options” but this time it’s “Jowa, jowa jowa.”

Four Sisters Before the Wedding stars Alexa Ilacad as Bobbie, Gillian Vicencio as Alex, Charlie Dizon as Teddie, Belle Mariano as Gabbie, and Clarence Delgado as CJ. Carmina Villarroel and Dominic Ochoa will portray the siblings’ parents.

We’re going into this film with high expectations and here are a few things we want to see on screen.

Bobbie showing her mom her valedictorian medals

Via Netflix

If you’ve seen the first film you know there’s a lot of childhood angst and hurt buried under the “perfect family” picture. We demand to see Bobbie going home to show her mom, Grace, her valedictorian medals. That’s medals in the plural. But instead of congratulating her, si Teddie parin yung pinuri even though she got just one medal!

Yung ulam na tinabi para kay Teddie at yung bags na galing Divisoria

Via Netflix

“Are you saying that I’m unfair?”
“No, Ma. I’m saying you have your favorites.”

Remember Bobbie’s story about how she went home one day gutom na gutom so she accidentally ate food left for Teddie, angering Grace? Is it too much to ask to know what the ulam was? Or how about a scene of Grace coming home from Divisoria one day and telling Bobbie she can’t pick a bag yet because Teddie has to pick first?

How Bobbie met Chad

Via Netflix

This looks like it’s turning to be a list about Bobbie but anyway, we want to see how she meets Chad and how their story progresses. And if she meets Chad, that means we should also see Alex pining for him on the sidelines. The angst!

Chad composing his cheesy song for Bobbie

Remember how awkward it was when Alex invited Chad over and a starstruck Princess begged him to sing her “favorite song”? Bobbie said she only heard it once — when Chad proposed to her. Is it too much to ask that we see that scene too?

How Alex became the “black sheep of the family”

Via Netflix

Alex is quite the character — tough, jaded, and with her walls of defense always put up high. We want to see how her relationship with Bobbie went downhill and how that contributed to who she is in Four Sisters and a Wedding.

CJ meeting his ex, Nicole

Who is this mysterious Nicole that the Salazar sisters prefer over the bubbly Princess? CJ has to have met her when they were young, right?

Why Gabbie ended up the “old maid” of the family

four sisters before the wedding

Via Netflix

Gabbie has never once been shown to have a suitor or a prospective love interest. Is she perhaps waiting for someone? Or was she hurt from a past relationship? We see her in the trailer for Four Sisters Before the Wedding with a guy classmate so maybe it isn’t such a far-fetched idea.

Bobbie choosing to go abroad over staying with her family

Via Netflix

And if there’s anyone who has quite a story in this normal family, it would be Bobbie. She said she sacrificed her life in the Philippines to work abroad and help with the family’s finances. Will we see her slowly transform into the awesome Corporate Communications Manager that she is now?

If you’re itching to know if these scenes will be in the movie, you won’t have to wait long. Four Sisters Before the Wedding is set for release on Dec. 11 (this Friday!) via  KTX.ph, Iwant TFC, IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV for P150.
