Digital banks are becoming more popular among money savers. But a common question that frequently comes up is this: How exactly do you request a bank certificate from a digital bank? Sure, they issue e-statements that list all your transactions for a certain period of time. But what about the document that is often required when applying for loans or visas? So whether you need it for a car or housing loan or even a visa application for your next trip, we compiled a list of the most popular digital banks in the Philippines and how to request bank certificates from each one.

  7. You will receive a One Time PIN (OTP) through your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP when prompted.
  8. Go to View account details. There, you can download your bank certificate. It will include your account name, account type, account number (last 4 digits only), currency, available balance, opening date, and due date and goal amount (for Personal Goals only).

SeaBank

Cost: Free
How to get a bank certificate: As of writing, the SeaBank app does not have any feature to request one. To do so, you need to start a chat with their team on the SeaBank app or email them at contact@cs.seabank.com.ph.

Other users also suggested you can call them through their telephone numbers (+632) 8891 7927 (local hotline) or 1800-1-110-2957 (local toll free for PLDT and Smart users). During the call, a SeaBank representative will verify your account and identity. If you’re applying for a visa, they will also ask which embassy you need it for, and they will address the document to the embassy. They will send the document to your email after one banking day.

It’s important to note that their standard format does not include the average daily balance (ADB), so if you need it, you need to specify it during your request.
