Pinoys are pros when it comes to evoking kilig. Proof? Philippine cinema’s goldmine of cheesy and kilig-filled romance flicks will make any viewer swoon. Valentine’s Day may be over, but if you’re still searching for romantic movies to spend the rest of Love Month in an uber-kilig state, we’ve got some recommendations. 

 

Got 2 Believe (2002)

Toni (Claudine Baretto) eagerly wants to find the man of her dreams because she doesn’t want to end up an old maid, which seems to be a running curse in her family. Enter Lorenz (Rico Yan), a dashing wedding photographer who published some of Toni’s embarrassing photos at weddings. Can love blossom between them despite their differences?

The Hows of Us (2018)

George (Kathryn Bernard) and Primo (Daniel Padilla) are the epitome of a lovely couple that dreams of succeeding together. But as they get confronted by one adversity after the other, they begin to wonder if their relationship can endure whatever lies ahead.

Love You to the Stars and Back (2017)

Feeling alone, Mika (Julia Barretto) goes on a road trip in search of aliens. Along the trip, she encounters Caloy (Joshua Garcia), who’s also off to another destination. Everything seems to be going well until Mika discovers that Caloy is suffering from a terminal illness.
