Mental Health is a problem rarely discussed in the Philippines. There is still a pervasive fear of speaking up and being judged, and it doesn’t help that there are limited resources for mental health counseling. According to the World Health Organization, 800,000 people commit suicide each year making it one of the leading causes of death in the world.

In the past couple of years, the number of mental health facilities are slowly growing which means that people have more access to them. Here are some hotlines and facilities you can contact regarding different mental health illnesses:
