Technically not a teleserye, Kagat Ng Dilim is still worth your TV fixation as Tiktik at Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles and Honor Thy Father director Erik Matti is rumored to helm stories for the new VIVA Television’s 2000 horror-drama anthology.

Bea Binene stars as Angela, the protagonist/dog child/mas masahol pa sa hayop in Hanggang Makita Kang Muli. The premise is that Angela was locked and raised in a room with only a dog as company. Her captor is Odessa (played by Ina Feleo), the telenovela staple of the crazy antagonist who does crazy, antagonizing things to keep the story moving. As Angela grew up treated like an animal, she is finally found in the woods by Angela’s dog (lover)boy, Calvin Manahan (played by Derrick Monasterio). Suffice to say, we’re all interested in where all this is heading.
