So, you have no idea where to take your bae to this Valentine’s. You’ve probably taken her to almost every restaurant you know that’s perfect for date nights by now that you’re scared to bring her somewhere that’ll make her say, “Nanaman?”

Fret not because we’re here to show you some of the new beautiful and romantic spots around the Metro to surprise your date at after class or work!

8. La Spezia

Via Facebook: La Spezia MNL

90 Scout Lazcano Street, Tomas Morato, Quezon City
(+63) 917-317-8992 | Facebook, Instagram
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11AM to 2PM, 5PM to 10PM
Budget for two – P1,100

Named after a coastal town in Italy, La Spezia is a restaurant that serves Italian food like you never would have imagined it to be. It’s as authentic as it could get, with a homey nondescript vibe that would fool you into thinking it isn’t romantic a place enough. But even with its short menu of Italian classics, you won’t go wrong with any of them—especially with the Spaghetti Pomodoro E Basilico, the Risotto Classico, or, if any of you aren’t fond of pasta, the Pesce, Pomodoro E Arugula Insalata.

7. Foo’d by Davide Oldani

If you’re not afraid to spend on a little on luxury with your beau, head for this fancy restaurant inside Shangri-La Fort. Pronounced as “Food-dough,” Foo’d by David Oldani serves accessible high-quality Italian dishes with a modern twist, offering a Michelin-star quality three-course menu starting at Php 800, and a four-course menu starting at Php 1,200. The elegant ambience will really set the right mood for romance.

6. Made Nice Supper Club

This place puts great balance between casual and elegant which makes it perfect for those who don’t want the date to be too fancy, but still want to make the night more special. You’ll splurge just a little for its few dishes and cocktails, but every peso spent will be worth it. Plus, the entire place and food are Instagenic, so you and bae will definitely make people green with envy with your pretty photos!

And with the quality and effort presented in each French cuisine-inspired dish, you’ll realize that you’ve gotten a lot more bang for your buck than you expected! They also have a special menu on the night of Valentine’s Day that costs Php 2,399 per person. Reserve your slots now because seats are filling up fast!
