No matter how far it is from the metro, we’ll always find ways to keep coming back to Nuvali. In just a short period of time this food and retail hub has grown getting bigger and better. And although it may tend to get a tad too crowded (expect big crowds on weekends), the unique food finds in the 3-part Solenad complex are still worth the drive down south.

Here are a few more restaurants around Solenad to try for your next out-of-town weekend getaway!

8. Oh, Bento!

Via Facebook: oh, Bento

3F, Cinema Building, Solenad 3, Ayala Malls, Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna
(049) 544-5437 | Facebook, Instagram
Open Monday to Friday from 11a.m. to 9p.m., Saturday from 10a.m. to 10p.m., Sunday from 10a.m. to 9p.m.

This adorably-themed café serving cute bento boxes will surely put a smile on anyone’s face. You can either have your meal made-to-order or do-it-yourself which is a fun interactive experience for kids and kids-at-heart. They also have a little shop in the corner of their café where you can buy bento making tools if you want to start making festive packed lunches (which you probably will).

7. Kanin Get It

Solenad 1, Nuvali, Santa Rosa Laguna
(049) 502-8187
Open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

This cheaper version of Kanin Club is one of the affordable dining spots in Nuvali. It’s not easily crowded too so you can enjoy eating at a leisurely pace. You’ll be surprised by how authentic-tasting some of its dishes are. Plus, they give hefty servings so you’ll really get more bang for your buck!

6. Burger Republik

(+63) 925-736-5785 | Facebook
Open every day from 11a.m. to 9p.m.

If it’s conventional burgers you’re hungry for, you won’t find them in Burger Republik. They sell what they call “adventurous” burgers that make use of ingredients you won’t normally expect wedged between two buns. Try sinking your teeth in a Vigan Crunch, Bicol Impress, and Mount Pinatubo. Wondering what those burgers are made of? Head over to Solenad and see for yourself!

5. Café Arabelle

Via Facebook: Café Arabelle Nuvali

Solenad 3, Ayala Malls, Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna
(049) 258-0775 | Facebook, Instagram
Open Sunday to Thursday from 11a.m. to 10p.m., Friday to Saturday from 11a.m. to 11p.m.

This homey restaurant serving up a variety of American and Italian comfort food will save you the effort of searching for a good place to treat your date. It isn’t too fancy nor too simple, so both of you can enjoy a special lunch or dinner without spending so much. Indulge in a thin-crust pizza, a pasta dish, and some poutine fries.

4. Hen & Hog

Via Hen And Hog Nuvali

GF, Building 3, Solenad, Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna
(049) 258-0730 | Facebook, Instagram
Open every day from 11a.m. to 10p.m.

Foodies will fall in love with this restaurant serving sinfully good chicken, pork, and sweet desserts. Never mind that diet! Pig out to your heart’s content over Baby Back Ribs, Roasted Chicken, Roasted Pork Belly, and more. They even serve group meals so the next time your barkada plans a road trip, you know where to bring them!

3. Domo Tomo

Solenad 1, Nuvali, Santa Rosa Laguna
(049) 302-6307
Open every day from 10a.m. to 10p.m.

For a cheap but quality Japanese food run, Domo Tomo is the place to be. And yup, you read that right. “Cheap” and “quality Japanese” don’t go hand in hand these days anymore, but this restaurant is the exception we didn’t know we needed. They serve Japanese dishes with generous portions and without fuss and fluff, ensuring that you get your money’s worth.

2. Early Bird Breakfast Club

There’s also something for the early risers of Nuvali, and it’s Early Bird Breakfast Club. Their delicious and filling breakfast meals will give you the energy you’d need to power through the day. Their serve these meals all-day long, though, so noontime risers need not worry about missing out.
