In the age of the internet, online shopping is the norm. Nothing beats the ease of lying on your bed, scrolling through your apps, and having your retail therapy shipped straight to your doorstep. An important part of online shopping (if not the most crucial) is reading the customer reviews for each product so you don’t go for it blind. But the customer reviews section sometimes gives you more than what you’d expect, especially if witty Filipinos are involved. Here are just some of the wackiest shopper reviews we’ve seen.

Para sa susunod kong mamahalin

You already know Shopee user ysayguangco has been solving her heartbreak by learning to move on and playing an instrument while she’s at it. Be like Shopee user ysayguangco.

Feeling single

Via Facebook

You can never prepare yourself for attacks like these especially if they come from a customer’s review. Who cares anyway. Walang forever, right?

Manage your expectations

Online shopping is tricky and these reviews are the perfect Exhibit A of why you have to read the product description before purchasing. The item clearly says “Silicone Earphone Case for Airpods” and it sells for Php 33. Who expects actual AirPods to be sold for Php 33?! Not even imitation ones are that cheap.

Sometimes delivery guys are the criteria

Was about to buy this lace panties set sa shopee but this review is sending me ksjsbsbshs hee energy 😩😩 pic.twitter.com/h9blP3Lhbf

We can’t tell if this customer is on something while she was typing this review. She let herself go wild with the “HAHAHA” and the exclamation marks, even going so far as to say the delivery guy was cute. But what would crack you up is the seller’s obviously auto-generated response. “Simple words, is full of trust but also stable happiness” indeed. Whatever that means.

The pain of being excited for a product to arrive and then realizing it has been a year and you won’t receive it ever.

On point yung reviews sa Shopee ah. HAHAHA pic.twitter.com/NKjwoL9d3v

That’s right, take the fighting from the streets and social media feeds to online shopping e-commerce sites! It doesn’t matter what you’re purchasing, what matters is you stay woke.

Feast your eyes on this thread

💥 haikyuu characters as product reviews on shopee/lazada

This thread is cringe-worthy and will probably make you want to melt from second-hand embarrassment but it’s worth going through. Bonus points if you’re familiar with the Haikyuu!! characters.

When your orders get mixed up

And last but not the least, an epic tale of missing products ordered from Lazada Malaysia. One customer got the lovely Romantic 3D Light Table Lamp sans the remote while the other one got the remote without the lamp. Maybe this is fate’s way of letting them meet, and who knows what could happen from there?

What’s the funniest online shopping review you’ve ever seen?
