What else can you do while there?
There’s much more to do in UP Fair than just listening to the talented artists onstage. There are thrilling rides, yummy food concessionaires, free-flowing booze, and even some random trinket shops. The UP Diliman College of Fine Arts Student Council is organizing a Students’ Exhibit where you can enjoy visual artworks all weeklong.
In case you missed it, each night also features a specific advocacy the organizers want to put a spotlight on. You should inform yourself on what they’re campaigning for and know how you can help push these advocacies forward.
Some reminders
These nights would definitely be crowded, so just bring only your essentials packed in small bags. Make sure to be ready for rain, since some UP Fair weeks were met with unexpected rainfall. Wear appropriate outfit (no to anything white!) and bring shoe covers, raincoats, and umbrellas.
There won’t be enough parking for everyone attending. It might be better to actually just commute to save on time. If you really want to get a parking slot, be early. And honestly, even if you’re not bringing a car, it’s better to just be early in general, since there’s much to explore before the actual show starts.
Unless you’re on vacation the whole week, we’re not sure if you can attend each night. You’ll probably sleeping off the whole day after a UP Fair Night; that’s how late these gigs go. But if you actually got those week-long passes to attend each night, in which case, you do you! Also, sana all.
