8. Chixmiss addressing her breakup with Dogie
It’s never easy watching any vlogger’s apology video nor is it easy for said vloggers to create one. Gaming video creator Chixmiss had to post hers last February 2021 to once and for all address all the issues regarding her breakup with fellow YouTuber, Akosi Dogie. The video has reached 4,558,081 views as of writing with thousands of supportive comments from her subscribers.
7. Cong TV spending P1M in 15 minutes
Of course, a Team Payaman vlog will make it into the top trending videos of the year. Cong TV did not spend P1M on himself. This selfless king made sure everyone could get a taste of that blessing BUT it comes with a catch. Team Payaman had to *team up* and buy as many groceries as they can in 15 minutes. This Toni Fowler vlog has 6,840,277 views and counting, making it one of 2021’s local top trending videos. In it, Tyronia, Toni’s daughter, gets a surprise visit from her biological father, Aron Manalo. Their little girl was absolutely happy with the flowers and gifts her dad brought. 5. Ivana Alawi giving her mom a heartwarming surprise
Ivana Alawi’s 14.4 million subscribers were not only thoroughly entertained but were also touched after watching the vlogger prank her mom. She pretended to pick a fight with her brother and he “stormed out” of the house to the new car. When Mama Alawi was kept up to speed about what’s happening, the family was already crying tears of celebration and joy. #SanaAll. The video uploaded in January 2021 now has 10,612,675 views.
4. Mahal reuniting with Mura

Shortly before comedienne Mahal passed away, she spent time visiting her longtime screen partner Mura in Guinobatan, Albay. The pair had a meal together and discussed how Mura has been since he left showbiz after a tricycle accident in 2010. Afterward, Mahal extended help for Mura and his family in the form of groceries and cash. Mahal also promised to help him while she was alive, a promise she has kept to the end. The reunion was uploaded on Mygz Molina’s YouTube channel and has amassed 9,731,951 views to date.
3. Donnalyn and AJ Raval doing the extreme girlfriend challenge
Love fake dating tropes? You should watch Donnalyn and AJ Raval pretend that they’re in a relationship in a vlog that almost spans 20 minutes. Donnalyn picked AJ up in her car and surprised her with food and gifts. Netizens can’t get enough of the ladies’ chemistry, especially the part where they both tease a kiss. No wonder the video has garnered 7,053,890 views and counting.
2. Zeinab Harake vlogs her pregnancy journey
Zeinab Harake and rapper Skusta Clee welcomed their baby girl Zebbiana last April. Shortly after, Zeinab uploaded her vlog in May sharing the joys and frustrations of her pregnancy journey. She mentioned how she wanted a normal birth but had to go through C-section instead due to some health complications. The video has 7,819,725 views to date. Proof that Zeinab’s fans are here to support her no matter what.
1. Alex Gonzaga’s Four Sisters and a Wedding hilarious parody
Alex Gonzaga’s hilarious parody of her sister’s movie, Four Sisters and a Wedding is the most viewed local video this 2021. It was posted in July and, as of writing, has 10,892,966 views. Aside from Alex, other content creators and online personalities Donnalyn, Zeinab, and Michelle Dy also starred in the short film. Aside from these videos, ABS-CBN Star Cinema’s “She’s Dating the Gangster full movie” and Tasty Plus’ “Easy & Quick Cake Decorating Tutorials for Everyone” also made it to the top 10 trending videos of 2021.
