To all students, news flash: SUMMER’S OVER. To quote Billy Madison, it’s time to go back to school and prove to daddy you’re no fool. It’s time to head back and continue getting a quality education to prepare you for the real world after graduating.
Sure, the first week of school starts out well enough. Petiks muna! Then, things escalate very quickly.
Here are a few thoughts students have (or you had) throughout the school year.
8. THERE’S A QUIZ TODAY?
Also, surprise quizzes. The worst kind of surprise.
7. THE PROJECT WAS DUE TODAY?
“Oh yeah! I totally made one. I just left it at home. Is it okay if I pass it tomorrow?”
6. When your best friend is out sick
This isn’t happening. Who will I spend lunch and recess with?
5. When you successfully submit a group project by yourself
And your groupmates have the gall to ask for credit.
4. Hell week
Or, when you have a shit ton of deadlines and not enough time.
3. Time to look at your grades
If I do good, great! If I do poorly, it’s time to run away from home.
2. Grades? What does that mean?
Grades? Projects? Tests? What does that all mean exactly? What is school? What are we really? Are we humans, or are we dancers?
1. And when it’s all over.
Congratulations, you survived! Deep down, you knew you always had it in you. Keep it up and continue being the future the country needs!
How about you? What are the thoughts you have during the school year?
