Most of us often dread Mondays because it signals the return of the work week and the hustle and bustle of your daily routine. However, Korean drama fans have been recently looking forward to Mondays. In fact, most fans say they can’t wait for Monday because they get new episodes of romantic comedy Business Proposal every Monday and Tuesday!
If you’re not yet familiar with Business Proposal, the drama follows a group of young professionals who get entangled with one another after a scheme goes wrong. As a favor to her best friend, Shin Ha-ri (played by Kim Se-jeong) disguises herself as a vixen to scare off a blind date. Unfortunately for Ha-ri, her crazy act doesn’t deter her blind date Kang Tae-moo (played by Ahn Hyo-seop). At all. He even proposes marriage! The bigger twist? Tae-moo is the CEO of the company where her Ha-ri works. Yikes!
Meanwhile, Ha-ri’s best friend Jin Young-seo (played by Seol In-ah) is a chaebol heiress hoping to find true love. And luckily enough, she finds it in a chance encounter with Cha Sung-hoon (played by Kim Min-kyu). Unfortunately for her, Sung-hoon is the loyal secretary of Kang Tae-moo, the very person she ditched on the blind date. To make things more awkward, she moves into a new apartment and ends up neighbors with Sung-hoon. Double yikes!
