This year marks the 122nd year of our country’s independence and freedom, it’s even more memorable now that we’re celebrating in the middle of a crisis. As we grow older, remembering the Philippines’ long history and the sacrifices our heroes made has become even more important. History helps us understand why we are the people that we are today and helps us see which mistakes we shouldn’t make in the future.
