So recently, Cesar Montano gave a nice video shoutout to a kagawad that went viral because of an, ahem, ghostly apparition in the background. We’d love to share the video here, but we’re sure you can find it for yourselves, and we’ll leave it at that.
But see, “Happy birthday, kagawad” is just another in a long line of things where the real good stuff going on isn’t where you’re expecting to see it. Sometimes, you have to look a little extra hard, and then it just shocks you right away. Here are just 8 examples of that.
8. Our favorite “Happy birthday, kagawad” spoof.
Happy anniv nga pala kay Slick at kay Doc! More power! We lab you mhen! God Bless❤️

The Boys Night Out know how to strike while the iron is hot, what can we say? This is probably the funniest parody of Buboy’s video out there.
7. A creepy invader.
A man living in Tokyo is wondering why his food has been disappearing for almost a year, with no explanation why. The answer is not sleep eating, but something really, really creepy.
6. This almost pissed me off.
It took me wayyyy too long to understand exactly what I was looking at. And then it hit me.
5. Too much information, dude.
They say that the selfie is the new window to the soul. It sometimes says a lot more about you than you would like it to. Or in this case, a lot less. Heyo!
4. Who’s a good boy?
Some K-9 units find shabu in between magnetic lifters and bark like crazy. Some other K-9 units, on the other hand…
3. Who’s the real boss here?
You would think it’s the dapper man in a fine suit, talking about the South Korea situation with such eloquence and expertise, but his two daughters and super-responsive wife argue otherwise very convincingly.
2. Watch the master of misdirection teach how he does it.
It’s so easy to be misdirected when people try to call your attention to what they want you to see, which is why watching this master pickpocket at work really gives you a great idea just how easy it is to distract even the most astute among us. Whenever people say magic is all about hand speed, this demonstration proves how wrong people are.
1. The original “When You See It” video from 1999.
Watch it, and be amazed at how your own mind plays tricks on you when you’re focused on the wrong thing.
Because when you prioritize the thing that they want you to prioritize, you really have to wonder: what exactly is the moonwalking bear they don’t want me to see?
The answer might surprise you.
