In case you missed it, Disney just dropped the beautiful yet mysterious teaser trailer for Frozen 2.
Since then, the Internet has blown up with fan theories regarding the sequel’s plot. Here are the best ones we’ve found!
They’re finding their lost parents
Frozen 2 looks absolutely stunning and epic. This looks like it’ll have a overall darker tone then the first. I am pretty sure they are searching for there parents. Were we ever really sure that Elsa and Anna’s parents died in a tragic accident while out at sea? We saw graves, but no bodies (for obvious reasons, of course). Elsa will meet three other people with powers of the other seasons

Twitter user @foxville_art points out a cool easter egg on Frozen 2’s poster of a snowflake. If you look closely at the runes, they have different symbols which seemingly signify the four seasons — Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Is Elsa going to meet three other women with those other powers?
The mystery girl is Kristoff and Anna’s daughter

We meet a mystery girl in the trailer, and the Internet is bursting out with different guesses on who she might be. One of those theories says that, if Frozen 2 takes place years later, she could be Kristoff and Anna’s daughter. But seeing as her skin tone is much darker than Kristoff’s or Anna’s, this may not be the case.
Or, she could be Elsa’s girlfriend

I have theories about Frozen 2. I bet there is another “magical” being like Elsa. I bet she has fall-like powers. Something to do with wind and leaves. This Fall person will help Elsa control her powers and better understand them, hence why they showed her struggling w/ the wave.

After creators “affirmed” that Anna, Elsa, and Tarzan were related following a popular fan theory that their parents survived the boat incident and built a new home on a jungle island with their newly born baby boy Tarzan (watch the first sequence of Tarzan to know what we’re talking about), it would be really cool if the three end up meeting at one point!
Elsa’s dark secret
From the Frozen 2 trailer, am I to deduce that Elsa was the villain who sank her parents’ ship, sending them to a watery grave? I think that’s what they’re alluding to. Also, if there are trolls in this movie I will flip a table. I am grown ass man and I have Frozen opinions.
