In the Mix is back with a bigger and better lineup for this year’s music festival! This year’s installment includes some of the music’s biggest acts right now; Australian rock band 5 Seconds of Summer is back in Manila and will headline this year’s In the Mix, together with acts such as dance-rock band DNCE, Swedish singer Zara Larrson, English singer-songwriter Dua Lipa, indie darlings Two Door Cinema Club, and Grammy award winning artist Daya.
With a star studded lineup, we can’t help but prepare ourselves for tomorrow’s concert. With that said, here are songs that will hype you up for this year’s In the Mix!
Cake by the Ocean by DNCE
A major earworm, Cake by the Ocean will surely make fans hungry for some more music (and cake).
Blow Your Mind (Mwah) by Dua Lipa
The English singer recently visited the Philippines for an intimate performance for her Filipino fans, and now she’s back and ready for a bigger audience!
Lush Life by Zara Larrson
If lush life means Zara Larrson singing and dancing all night for her Pinoy fans, then we would want to live it too.
She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer
The anthemic song is what introduced us to these 4 lads from down under and will be an introduction to new fans.
Undercover Martyn by Two Door Cinema Club
Indie fans were upset when Two Door Cinema Club cancelled their concert here in the Philippines a few years ago, but now there’s no stopping these Irish lads from performing for their Filipino fans!
Sit Still, Look Pretty by Daya
With her powerful and strong vocals, you wouldn’t think that the person behind such hits like Down Let Me Down and Hide Away is just an 18 year old girl!
Toothbrush by DNCE
Another earworm (and basically every song) from the band, DNCE will surely keep us dancing all night. We might need them to cure our hangover in the morning.
What I Like About You by 5 Seconds of Summer
This classic song from The Romantics was given a new life through 5SOS’s cover of it, putting a different and updated spin for the band’s younger fans.
