We’re all suckers for a good romantic movie. Because let’s face it, ultra-romantic gestures and relationships are too good to be true to happen in real life. It isn’t always rainbows and butterflies, as Maroon 5 said. Love may not be as pretty in real life but we all want to experience it and kilig like in the movies. Scroll down our movie couples list for tandems that will definitely make you say, “Sana all!”

Kat and Patrick, 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

Who can forget Heath Ledger’s iconic “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” performance? In this 1999 flick, he hired a marching band to serenade Kat and even got chased by security! Ah, to be loved like that.

Celine and Jesse, Before Sunrise (1995)

When you ride the public transpo, talking to a stranger isn’t usually high on your list of priorities (if it’s even there at all). In Before Sunrise, Celine and Jesse meet on a train. Sparks fly, and they spontaneously decide to detrain in Vienna so they could spend the last remaining hours before Jess’s flight back to the United States together. The entire film consists of the couple just walking and talking candidly about love and life, and that’s all they needed to do to reel us in and keep us hooked for two more movies.

Lara Jean and Peter, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)

The film adaptation of Jenny Hann’s best-selling novel, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before swept everyone off their feet as soon as it dropped on Netflix. Having your old unsent love letters mailed to your crushes is probably one of the worst nightmares of all, but it set off a series of events that led to a kilig-worthy love story. Though Lara Jean and Peter’s relationship initially started as a fake one, they both found love in each other in the end. It’s a common trope, but we fall for it every time.

Ell and Noah, The Kissing Booth (2018)

Ell is best friends with Lee and they were bound by the usual best friend rule: no dating each other’s siblings. There’s only one problem: Ell has had a crush on Lee’s older brother Noah for the longest time. When she finally comes face-to-face with him through a kissing booth, things get complicated. It may be weird but it’s such a cute way to find love!

Paige and Leo, The Vow (2012)

Love really conquers all, even severe memory loss. The Vow is a movie about a happily married couple who get into a car accident which causes Paige to lose here memory of the past five years. This means she has no memory of her marriage and life with Leo but the latter is as persistent as ever. In this devastating movie, he tries to court his wife again and reintroduces himself and their old life. Hay, sana all talaga.

Allie and Noah, The Notebook (2004)

The Notebook is one of the most romantic movies of all time. It is the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling novel with the same title, and if it’s really meant to be, it will be. No matter how many people disapprove and how long time separates you.

Rachel and Nick, Crazy Rich Asians (2018)

Imagine finding out that the guy you’ve been dating comes from one of the richest families in his home country. Rachel and Nick in Crazy Rich Asians portray what love is like in Asian families and the lengths some would take to protect their family. Does status really matter? Not for Nick and Rachel.

Jamie and Landon, A Walk To Remember (2002)

A Walk To Remember portrays teen love in the dreamiest way. Despite belonging in different cliques, both showed that differences don’t really matter. The most important lesson of all is that faith makes love stronger.
