One of the reasons why the UAAP is so fun to watch is because the stars of the different teams make for great television when they’re playing with top-notch intensity on the court.

And thanks to social media, fans can now feel closer to these said players more than ever. That thought had us asking the question: which UAAP players are the most fun to follow on Instagram?

Here’s a list of who we thought of:

Arvin Tolentino, FEU Tamaraws

I’d like to call him Mr. Big Easy. One of the nicest guys off the court, Tolentino’s chill personality is put on display with his posts on IG, especially when it comes to his long-term relationship. After all, how can you not laugh with that photo above?

Renzo Subido, UST Growling Tigers

Speaking of nice guys, that’s exactly what Renzo is. Sporty, easy-going, and friendly, the UST veteran likes to display the dedication he spends on his game while at times sharing how he spends his free, non-working time as well.

Juan Gomez De Liaño, UP

Aka, Swish.

The best basketball trait about Juan GDL is his confidence, and that’s exactly the feeling you get whenever he posts his dunk of the day on his Instagram story. Also, the kid knows how to dress up real nice.

Raffy Verano, Ateneo Blue Eagles

If there’s one thing Raffy is better at than basketball, it might be being a cheeseball. The junior from Ateneo always gushes with pride when he posts about his special someone, but also displays a dorky side every so often.

Aljun Melecio, DLSU Green Archers

Ask anyone and they’ll tell you that the DLSU guard is one of the friendliest but most “makulit” people you’ll meet – and he likes to give a glimpse of that personality from time to time. But, don’t be mistaken: Melecio can also turn on the charm.

Joshua Sinclair, NU Bulldogs

Josh is one of the most interesting players in the UAAP. Mature years beyond his age, you never know what’s going to pop next when he’s on Instagram. You’ll find him in concerts, wearing Anime-like outfits, or playing with kids.

Time flies when you experience happiness and joy with one person. Happy anniversary my love ❤️

La Salle’s captain is intense and high-energy on the court, but off it, he’s always in the mood for a fun and relaxed time. To figure that out, all you have to do is check his Instagram profile, which also frequently features one of the best players in La Salle’s volleyball team who happens to be his good luck charm.

Thirdy Ravena, Ateneo Blue Eagles

Swag and class isn’t an easy combination to mix, but Thirdy Ravena does it effortlessly.
