Most of us already know how Avengers: Endgame ends. Over the past week, Marvel fans flocked to the cinemas to watch the biggest movie of the year, and almost everyone couldn’t hold their tears in, whether from sadness, happiness, or just sheer gratitude and satisfaction for the end of an era. After all, the majority of us spent our young adult years growing up with these characters, and having watched their arcs close, we can’t help but feel a little nostalgic.
But if the Endgame blues ever get to you, remember that the real people behind these characters are all great friends in real life. This is why every Avengers interview is always such a treat to watch. Let the binge-watching commence!
Name That Avenger
Since the most important thing for Avengers: Endgame is to not spoil the ending for those who haven’t seen it yet, interviewers are having a hard time with the cast. They can’t ask their specific burning questions and so most of them resorted to playing games with the cast. Name That Avenger is quite the challenge!
The Cast That’s Most Likely To
Interviews like these are breaths of fresh air where we witness the cast talk fondly (and also teasingly) about one another. Of course there’s no escaping the Mark-is-a-spoiler-machine talk.
They try to survive Thanos’ snap
It’s all fun and games until you find out you won’t survive the snap IRL.
The drawing game
One of our most favorite videos where the Original six Avengers play a drawing game while the rest of the world weeps over the movie. You know, just casual stuff.
When they tried to chronologically say all 22 marvel movies
The comments section is right, if Tom Hiddleston or RDJ were involved in this game, they would hands-down win. And during the first 2 minutes of the challenge no less!
The cast answer the most Googled Marvel questions
Wired has done a great job exposing these Avengers who know nothing about their own movies! We’re looking at you, Scarlet Johansson. #SoStrong #SoTall
This pre-premiere interview with Kimmel that apparently had spoilers
Before the official premiere night of Avengers: Endgame, Paul Rudd, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, and Robert Downey Jr. went on Kimmel to promote the movie. We saw that interview and found it entertaining, as all their interviews are. but looking back, Scarlet actually dropped a spoiler and no one even noticed it! Listen to her at the 1:38 mark.
Black Widow and Thor try to insult each other
Where Scarlet Johansson tells Chris Hemsworth “You are so ugly” and not a single soul was convinced.
BONUS: And of course this tribute video
Thank you, Stan.
